ZEPHYR “The Last Dawn” (NLM 157/AND 019, 2008)

Saying ZEPHYR is like saying Alessandro Zazzeri, guitarist and singer who for three decades, with some inevitable breaks, carry on this project. ZEPHYR is a story that began in Ravenna way back in 1979, which crosses the entire path of the Italian heavy metal scene and which finally finds an official outlet with “The Last Dawn”, the right reward for many years of passion. The CD contains the ten songs from the album recorded and never released in 1989, the four tracks from the first demo tape from 1985 and the song “Born To Run”, theme song for the television program “Road Show” by Video Music (now MTV), presented by well-known VJs Rick & Clive. A sound forged with an original, epic and romantic style, shaped by the leader’s stentorian vocality. If we are allowed a small gesture of self-satisfaction, “The Last Dawn” is yet another labor of love of Andromeda Relix and New LM Records, towards a musical ferment that we will never stop loving.
